Creative Scrappers # 150

another of my favorite sketch sites is CS, they have new sketches every week that are just incredible.  This is sketch 150

and I did a layout using one of my sweet cousins, Laura, who loves to play dress up, using some of my Dear Lizzy stash 

And since the sun is shining I am off to the beautiful outdoors to dig up my front yard so we can finally get a walkway finished and thanks to the torrential rain we got last nite cause it should be super easy digging!!!  Happy Saturday!!!

TrailMakers

Surprise, surprise.... another challenge completed.  This one is for TrailMakers, Karen does a great job coming up with the challenges and I have to admit I am a little partial to her since I was lucky enough to be on her 1st design team, she also has some great prizes too!! 

The challenge this week was to use the Blog Banner as inspiration for a layout/card.

and here is my take, and I love the way this turned out... in case you didn't know, my SIL had twin boys in Feb hence the play on words that 8 isn't quite enough (quite clever I must say-heehee)

Sketchy Thursdays

While I was away this past weekend at the Red Rooster Retreat (a whole 'nother post) I was finally able to do some challenges, which I have been slacking at lately.
One of my favorite sites is Sketchy Thursdays, every Thursday they have new sketch and here is the April 7th sketch:

Here is my take, Atha and I saw this a picture similar to this sequence and we just had to do it to, it took about 3 tries to get a good sequence..David and Bill though we were nuts  LOL 

LOOKEE what I got

while I was at my scrap retreat this past weekend.

I won the Cuttlebug during a blog hop from Paper Tree House and the envelope is full of flowers and ribbons from Perfectly Precocious. 
I have lots more to post from my scrappy weekend so be watching.... gotta go put my closet back together from the catastrophe of the past week.
